Massada is an independent European eyewear brand based in Switzerland. The Massada Art project is led by creative director Kate Lupinsky, raised in South Africa living in Europe, who derives her passion from deep curiosity and consideration for the world. They search and choose the best craftsmen in Japan and Italy to make Massada glasses. It takes a year to develop a new glasses. It takes several discussions, careful considerations, and a lot of prototyping to reach the final desired effect. Manufacturing process itself consists of hundreds of steps and lasts for the period of more than 8 months.
